Our commemorative fifth-anniversary issue is scheduled to be published on Thursday, October 22, 2026. This issue will honor our journey while looking toward the future. It will also introduce Central Florida’s 25 Victorious Leaders, a special recognition celebrating individuals who lead with purpose, serve with integrity, and create meaningful impact in their field, organization, or community.
We look forward to celebrating with you and stepping boldly into our next chapter.
As VBD Magazine approaches its fifth anniversary, I am grateful for the journey that began in October 2021 and the many meaningful stories we have shared along the way.
For five years, we have celebrated individuals whose faith, leadership, achievements, and service continue to inspire others and strengthen communities. Each story has reminded us of the power of purpose and how one person’s commitment can make a lasting difference.

Honoring Individuals Who Are Making a Difference
Central Florida’s 25 Victorious Leaders will recognize 25 outstanding individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment are improving lives and strengthening communities across Central Florida.
WHAT IS A VICTORIOUS LEADER? A victorious leader is someone who leads with purpose, serves with integrity, and creates meaningful impact in their field, organization, or community.
This recognition is inclusive of men, women, established leaders, and emerging or young leaders representing diverse professions, backgrounds, and communities.
Nominations Open: August 28, 2026
Nomination Deadline: September 9, 2026
Honorees Informed: September 16, 2026
Anniversary Issue Published: Thursday, October 22, 2026
Self-nominations and nominations submitted by others are welcome. There is no fee to nominate someone, to submit a self-nomination, or to be selected for the standard recognition feature.
SELECTION INTEGRITY: Honorees will be selected on merit through editorial review. Sponsorship, advertising, and optional promotional purchases will not influence nomination or selection decisions.
Nominees must live, work, lead, or serve in one or more of the following counties: Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, or Volusia.
Individuals do not have to reside in Central Florida, but their leadership, service, or community impact must directly benefit one or more of the eligible counties.
Selected honorees will be contacted directly and asked to provide 2 professional photographs, biography, written responses, and publication permission by the stated deadline.
A nominee does not need to be widely known, hold a prominent title, or have a large social media following. The central question is whether the person is making a genuine and meaningful difference.
