Tabitha Bouldin has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing/English from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and has been writing since 2015. When she’s not homeschooling her kids, you’ll find her curled up with a book or adventuring with her camera.
“I never knew I wanted to be a writer. In 2015, through God’s wonderful blessing, I became a stay-at-home mom. After writing in every spare moment for three years, I created a series I thought deserved to be published. Seeing all those pages, I felt a nudge from God that it was time to set the books free.
Faith is part of everything I write. With each story, I ask, ‘What do You want me to accomplish with this book?’ I always learn something about myself with each novel. God always shows up in the writing, usually in subtle ways I don’t even notice until I’m going through the second or third edit, but also in big ways that say, ’Here He is!’ “
WRITING ADVICE
“Find your writing people. Writing is often a solitary venture, but it is better with friends. Writing friends are a tremendous asset. They’ll be there to help you talk through problems and encourage you when you want to quit.
If you’re an aspiring author, be patient. There will be times when it seems like you’re never going to reach the next milestone. Don’t let it overwhelm you or make you quit.”
